• Call data: Caller phone numbers, caller names (when provided), call recordings, call transcripts, call summaries, appointment details
• Payment information: Processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
• Device information: Device tokens for push notifications (if you use our mobile app)
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, error logs

• Answer calls on your behalf and provide summaries
• Book appointments and send SMS confirmations
• Send you text notifications about calls and messages
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Improve our AI voice agent and service quality

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers: Twilio (calls/SMS), ElevenLabs (voice AI), Stripe (payments), Google Calendar (appointment booking), AWS (hosting)
• Your callers: SMS confirmations sent on your behalf include your business name and appointment details
• Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or court order

5. Call Recording & AI Processing

Calls handled by Ask Essie may be recorded and transcribed by our AI system. Recordings are used to generate call summaries and improve service quality. Call data is stored securely and associated with your tenant account. Callers are informed they are speaking with an AI assistant.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including:

• AES-256-GCM encryption for stored credentials
• TLS/HTTPS for all data in transit
• JWT-based authentication with token revocation
• Audit logging of all data access and changes

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data and call history for as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation, we retain data for 90 days before permanent deletion. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your call history and account data
• Opt out of non-essential communications
